Eco-Outfit: Sway Chic in New York City
{ECO-OUTFIT} beige shorts, H&M CONSCIOUS COLLECTION (made from recycled polyester & cotton), black handbag, c/o R&EM (100% vegan), leopard print open-toed wedges, c/o CRI DE COEUR (100% vegan), belt (borrowed from a friend), sleeveless color block tunic, c/o SWAY CHIC (100% polyester, which is not usually my preference, but as I do more research around textile recycling, I find that when not blended with other fibers, polyester is a very sustainable fabric that can be recycled over and over again and retain its strength… so, if it is a mono-fabric, I am considering its usefulness for the supply chain at the end of its current life. What are your thoughts on polyester?).
