The Little White Dress, Inspired From Somewhere… Less is more this Spring. At least that is what the designers have put forth in their S/S 2010 collections. Clean lines, varying hues of white and ivory, simple and elegant cuts- all reigned the runways. This time it is all about the classic little white dress.

Choose something that is slightly feminine with either a sheer layered fabric or a slightly sexy detail- like an off the shoulder cut. For poolside day parties, nights out in Vegas or a summer event, this type of dress is perfect.

Underwear As Outerwear: S/S 2010 Trend. It’s getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes! A sexy and fresh trend that is slowly infiltrating its way into the mainstream and a nightclub or office near you- underwear as outerwear.

A return to the feminine celebration of being sexy but not slutty. It is a delicate balance of showing just a bit and leaving more to the imagination. The key to pulling this sultry sweet look off is to mix textures and keep your shoes sturdy and a tad more on the conservative side so as not to look like you came from a porn set.

You can layer two or three sheer bras under a body suit to get a more unique (and covered!) look. Or, add a fun print solid bra for full coverage. Pair the body suit with a high-waisted knee length skirt or pair of trousers and heels and a long cardigan for an office appropriate look. Make sure that the body suit you are wearing during work hours is solid and doesn’t leave you nervous about showing too much.

A Coat For All Seasons: The Trench. The trench coat has long been on the list of “Invest In What You Love”. Every woman has or aspires to have the perfect form-fitting and classic coat in their wardrobe. Season after season it makes an appearance on the runways and on the streets as a ‘must have’!

That is why is has been deemed the coat of all seasons- timeless as it is functional. We have all  heard of Burberry kaki trenches being passed down through the generations of a family.
