REBECCA BUTLER
Rebecca Butler is fascinated by the world of sustainable design. This interest developed while studying for her MA in Sustainable Development at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Alongside her studies in sustainability she created collections for student fashion shows, providing a platform to experiment in sustainable design. In addition to her activities in Scotland, Rebecca has travelled throughout Europe and Asia to work with sustainable fashion designers and textile companies. She now lives in London and writes for a new era of eco-interested consumers who are intrigued by sustainable fashion’s possibilities.
Rebecca writes the Designer Interview section and gives you access to the style inspiration and sustainability stories behind your favorite brands and designers.
CICILY RAE
Cicily Rae quickly found her love for the beauty industry while studying at the Paul Mitchell Costa Mesa Cosmetology School. Her knowledge and passion immensely evolved through experiences such as O.C Fashion Week, the Intercioffure Annual Fashion show, having a personal editorial spread published in Fashion Gone Rogue and assisting Vivienne Mackinder, a world renowned icon for the hair industry. Cicily stands for the possibility of anyone who emerges themselves in the industry find and realize their true greatness and boldly feel beautiful. Cicily works with the thought in mind of making a positive impact for those who step into her world of hair, which she is endlessly in love with. She is committed to making an impact through what she loves the most… the beauty industry as a whole.
Cicily regularly writes for the Beauty Spot column as the hair expert we all love for her tips, tricks and product reviews.
CORA HILTS
Cora is a fashion lover whose passion for positive change is driving her ventures into sustainability. She has lived between New York, Paris and London in recent years, and her experiences have shaped her regard towards style and international ethics. She obtained her Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from King’s College London, which served to increase her desire to oversee effective modifications to the environmental and humanitarian defects within the fashion industry. She has worked at Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney, and is an incorrigible fan of high fashion. She is now dedicated to merging the worlds of couture and sustainability. She is the founder of the website, rêve en vert: eco-consciousness for fashionistas.
